For generations, Catholics have cherished Sacred Scriptures read during Mass—yet many still find the Bible difficult to approach, fragmented, or disconnected from daily life. This challenge is especially pronounced for young adults and families formed by visual culture and digital storytelling.
The Joshua Project was created to meet this moment.
Our goal is to reveal scriptural truths in bite-sized chunks through animation and our live-action digital series. All our work is grounded in the Torah, Tanakh and New Testament. We are producing our inaugural animation series, The Expert Witness, a cinematic, character-driven animated series that makes the Scriptures accessible, engaging, and fun.

The Joshua Project (TJP) makes learning the Bible enjoyable by unlocking the mysteries of the New Testament through the narratives of ancient Jewish texts, Old Testament writings, prophecies, prophets, and covenants.

TJP is an educational technology company (ed-tech) dedicated to producing animated and live-action series, podcasts, and miniseries that explore Catholic biblical theology. We explore the Scriptures by breaking traditional boundaries, with diverse characters, unorthodox storylines, visual biblical revelation, and strong theological partnerships. Our Journey
From humble beginnings of listening to Jewish Roots authors and theologians and imagining Biblical stories in his head, M. Sinclair Thompson built The Joshua Project to bring these scenes to life in a digital animated series. Our studio has grown into a recognized name in the industry.
